		<title><![CDATA[Verdict in on John Laws &quot;Pillow Bighter&quot; Case]]></title>

		<content type="text/html" mode="escaped" xml:base="http://www.thepinkdirectory.com.au/blogs/blog_comment.asp?bi=40"><![CDATA[The NSW Administrative Decisions Tribunal has dismissed a complaint against controversial broadcaster John Laws despite finding that his comments fulfilled the legal definition of vilification.<br /><br />In 2004 Laws referred to American Queer Eye For The Straight Guy host Carson Kressley as a “pompous little pansy prig” and a “pillow biter” during a Melbourne Cup day broadcast.<br /><br />Laws objected to the visiting US television star judging women’s fashion at the annual racing event, saying “He was on channel 7 judging girls. Now what the hell does a pillow-biter know about judging girls?”<br /><br />Laws and Sydney radio station 2UE first claimed that Laws was trying to be funny when he made the comments and did not intend them as malicious, but then later claimed the case was a freedom of speech issue.<br /><br />To read full article see www.thepinkbroad.com.au/issue/40/news.html]]></content>
